Job summary

Hoosier Energy seeks an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a centralized contract program, ensuring compliance with CIP-013 and related policies. You will manage large contracts, supervise staff, and lead strategic procurement initiatives while collaborating with attorneys and project managers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in supply management or business, 10–15 years of contract management experience, and ISM/APICS certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply management or business.
• Experience: 10-15 years of contract manager experience in supply management including purchasing, logistics and inventory management.
• Certifications: ISM or APICS certification a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and oral communication, ability to manage multiple projects, and contract writing/negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, negotiate, execute and administer contracts as stated. Supervise delegated workload and assignments.
• Develop department plans, goals, policies, procedures and training; assume manager responsibilities in their absence.
• Participate in vendor assessment committees to mitigate risks in purchases and contracts.
