Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts and task orders, subcontracts AMA awards to other companies, and agreements under which AMA performs as a subcontractor. This role supports AMA’s NASA and DoD programs. The position is in Huntsville, AL with hybrid or remote options for qualified candidates.

Salary range is $63,942-$95,680, depending on experience. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, contracts, or related field.
• Mid-level and senior levels require progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and application to prime and subcontract flowdowns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders through pre- to post-award to ensure FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Support proposal/bid prep by reviewing solicitations and specifications to identify risks and mitigation.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners.
• Support program reviews with contract status, funding, and compliance data.
• Coordinate review/approval of terms and legal sufficiency of documents.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle including negotiations and closeout.
• Organize RFPs for competitive negotiations, including complex solicitations.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals, including technical and price analyses, and prepare award recommendations.
