Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, subcontracts AMA awards to other companies, and government and commercial agreements for NASA and DoD programs.

Position located in Huntsville, AL with hybrid or remote options for qualified candidates. Salary range from $63,942 to $95,680 based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of progressive contracts or subcontract administration (mid-level).
• 8+ years for senior level with independent management of complex agreements.
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS and their prime contract flowdowns.
• Experience administering cost-type, fixed-price, and labor-based contracts and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer prime contracts and subcontracts to ensure FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Support proposal and bid preparation, reviewing statements of work and specs for risks and mitigations.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners.
• Coordinate review and approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of documents.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle, including negotiations and closeout.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor proposals with cost analyses.
