Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, AMA awards to other companies, and agreements under which AMA performs as a subcontractor. The successful candidate will support AMA’s NASA and DoD programs from Huntsville, AL with hybrid/remote options for qualified candidates.

The role requires strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, sound judgment, initiative, and excellent time management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or government contracting certification is required.
• 5+ years in contracts or subcontract administration.
• 8+ years for senior level with independent management of complex agreements.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and prime/subcontract flowdowns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders from pre-award through post-award.
• Support proposal and bid preparation, including reviewing solicitations and statements of work.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners.
• Support program reviews with contract status, funding, and compliance information.
• Coordinate review and approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of documents.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle including negotiations and closeout.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs and subcontract terms and conditions.
