Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the contracts function, overseeing review, drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management of customer and supplier agreements, including government contracts.

The role requires strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, risk assessment, and the ability to coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure contracts align with Busch standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of commercial contract experience; government contracts experience a plus.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating customer and supplier contracts; strong risk allocation.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day contracts across Busch Group; primary contact for contractual matters.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle from intake to closeout, including government contracts and NDAs.
• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contracts to protect Busch’s interests.
• Review FAR/DFARS clauses and ensure flow-down to suppliers.
• Assess pricing, payment terms, warranties, indemnification, IP, confidentiality, and other terms.
• Lead contract negotiations within established standards and approvals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
• Supervise and develop Contracts team; maintain contract records and timelines.
