Job summary

Everett Ship Repair, LLC seeks a Contracts Manager to own government contracting work for naval and commercial programs. You will shape solicitation reviews, build compliant proposal packages, and manage contracts from award through closeout with in-house counsel and executive visibility.

You will administer SAM.gov, PIEE, SPRS, and MSRA/ABR qualifications, and lead negotiations on price, milestones, and terms, coordinating across Sales, Estimating, Engineering, and Production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 7+ years in government contracting.
• Experience reviewing and redlining contract terms independently.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, NAVSEA standards, and contract types.
• Proven organization, clear writing, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review solicitations early; draft redlines and risk summaries for bids.
• Assemble the proposal package: reps, certs, matrices, bonding, insurance.
• Maintain a controlled submittals library and submit through SAM.gov/PIEE/MSC.
• Administer SAM.gov, PIEE, SPRS; coordinate CMMC with IT/Quality; MSRA/ABR.
• Negotiate post-award terms; coordinate with counsel; prepare exec package.
• Maintain contract files, modification/cooperation records, and risk logs.
• Review NDAs and vendor/teaming/consulting agreements; travel as needed.
