Job summary

Seasats is seeking an organized Program Manager to lead end-to-end government contract projects, owning the plan, schedule, budget, and customer relationship for engagements ranging from complex contracts to military exercises.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, Fleet Operations, and Business Development, and act as the primary point of contact with government and military customers to ensure delivery on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Project/Program Manager on government contracts (required).
• Experience as a PM on either small engineering development projects or maritime operations contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Experience supporting proposal efforts by scoping cost, schedule, and technical approach.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage a customer relationship on execution matters and to task and monitor matrixed personnel across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the successful execution of assigned external and internal projects, including customer contracts, government/military exercises, and internal initiatives.
• Manage customer contracts and ensure successful delivery against contract terms.
• Support sales proposal efforts by defining project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Track project hours and cash expenditures, in coordination with finance/accounting, and use that tracking to inform project invoicing.
• Coordinate the execution of project tasks by matrixed personnel assigned to the project by their functional managers.
• Plan and conduct internal and external meetings associated with assigned projects.
• Represent Seasats as the single point of contact on assigned projects.
• Author and/or coordinate project documentation deliverables.
• Identify and track project risks and develop mitigation plans.
