Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in New York City to review and negotiate vendor agreements across the Americas.

You will advise on contractual, commercial, operational, and compliance risks, and help scale contracting processes with cross-functional teams, including Product, Privacy, and Security. You will mentor others, manage templates and playbooks, and collaborate with Legal Operations to enhance automation and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• At least 8 years negotiating and advising on commercial agreements.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, cloud, AI, privacy, security agreements.
• Able to manage moderately complex matters independently and with attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication across functions.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for Procurement and business leaders on supplier engagements.
• Review and negotiate vendor agreements, including SaaS and tech vendor terms.
• Advise on risk, gaps between terms and business needs, and practical positions.
• Interpret agreements and advise on rights, renewals, and termination.
• Manage templates, playbooks, and contract workflows; track metrics.
• Partner with Legal Operations to improve contracting tech and automation.
• Mentor peers and support negotiations on non-standard terms.
