Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Director of Contracts to lead the contracting lifecycle across proposals, negotiations, awards, administration, and closeout in a 100% remote environment.

You will interface with executive leadership, government and customers, ensure FAR/DFARS/ITAR compliance, and drive strategic contract policies while mentoring a Contracts team and coordinating with legal counsel and program managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive Contracts Management leadership in a federal GovCon environment.
• 12+ years of direct government contract administration experience, incl. RFP responses and large subcontract portfolios.
• International business experience including export controls and FCPA vetting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP of Contracts on workflow metrics and international matters.
• Lead negotiations with government contracting officers and customers.
• Administer contracts in compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Prepare and negotiate strategic agreements and significant sub-contracts.
• Interface with SBU Presidents, program managers, and Finance during contracting lifecycle.
