Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Manager, Contracts for the JPALS program to oversee cradle-to-grave contract management, proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout.

You will coordinate with Program Management, General Counsel, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and customer specs while supporting program and financial objectives. This role supports a Cedar Rapids, IA team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 8 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance and meet eligibility requirements.
• Experience with U.S. Government fixed-price and cost-type contracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Experience as Contracts Lead and leading negotiations with customers.
• Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to resolve contractual matters.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to influence business decisions.
• Manage contract scope and terms to align with contract requirements.
• Analyze RFPs, develop proposals, coordinate negotiations and contract administration.
• Investigate and resolve complex contractual issues with stakeholders.
