Job summary

Raytheon Technologies' Land and Air Defense Systems unit in the US seeks a Senior Manager, Contracts to oversee a multinational Direct Commercial Sales and Foreign Military Sales portfolio, lead front-end assessments, proposals, and negotiations while ensuring compliance with company policies, laws, and customer specifications.

You will partner with Program Management, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional teams to shape strategy, manage risk, and deliver financially sound

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in DCS and FMS contracting.
• Experience with FAR and/or DFARS.
• Experience with proposal development and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• 25% international travel to Europe.
• Implement strategies to improve acquisition timelines and customer pace of contractual actions.
• Develop pre-negotiation objectives and negotiate as part of the proposal development process.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to establish relationships and influence decisions.
• Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters with detailed information and innovative contracting techniques.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy to mitigate risks and changes.
• Continuously improve the contract team's quality, capability, and bench strength.
