Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field plus six years of experience managing, reviewing, monitoring and/or negotiating grants, contracts or similar documents.
• Two years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors processes for buying, contracting and grant activities.
• Designs contract management strategies to meet business needs and improve efficiency.
• Negotiates grants and contracts with performance measures, terms, penalties, and incentives.
• Reviews and renegotiates contracts for performance, cost reductions, and consolidation opportunities.
• Monitors contract expenditures and auditing of contract activities.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable City requirements and represents the department to stakeholders.
