Job summary

Health Research, Inc. seeks a Senior Contract Administrator to coordinate all aspects of contract processing from development to execution, including reviewing scopes of work, budgets and selection criteria.

The incumbent will validate funding changes, review vouchers for payment and ensure vendor banking information is correct, while monitoring email queues and driving process improvements in a hybrid New York–based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and two years of experience in contract coordination, contract administration or closely related experience.
• Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience.
• Six years of such experience.
• A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of contract processing from development to execution.
• Review contract request paperwork including scopes of work, budgets and selection criteria.
• Ensure compliance and validate changes related to encumbering and disencumbering funding.
• Conduct a secondary review of vouchers for payment and validate vendor banking information.
• Monitor the subcontract shared mailbox, provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues.
• Help keep procedures up to date, document processes and contribute to system process improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Associate's degree in a related field
