Qualifications

• 4+ years of post law school corporate or transactional experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada).
• Experience negotiating pre‑M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts with timely turnaround.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment funds and asset managers.
• Maintain and update client playbooks to ensure consistency and quality.
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Contribute to Carta's legal tech suite, leveraging AI-backed tools.
