Job summary

ICI Services seeks a Senior Contracts Analyst to support the NAVSEA PEO IWS BFM team in Washington, DC. You will work with a team of acquisition and financial professionals to manage budgets, contract actions, and procurement processes under DFARS and DoD 5000 series policies.

A DoD SECRET clearance is required or can be obtained. You’ll analyze budget proposals, enter data into approved systems, and advise on strategies to mitigate financial risk while ensuring compliance and smooth IPT

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in federal government contracting procurement, acquisition, or contract management.
• Experience using AMS to support acquisition and contract management activities.
• Extensive experience processing and managing Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and procurement best practices.
• Experience reviewing and administering contract modifications, task orders, and procurement actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
• Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
• Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
• Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
• Ensure compliance with DFARS and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures.
• Provide support to Integrated Product Teams to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
• Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.
