Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, task orders, and subcontracts with NASA and DoD programs. The role requires strong FAR/DFARS knowledge and proactive contract management.

Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be considered for qualified candidates. Salary ranges from $63,942 to $95,680 and candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field and experience
• At least 5 years progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience (mid-level)
• 8+ years progressive experience including independent management (senior)
• FAR/DFARS knowledge and prime/subcontract flowdowns
• Experience with cost-type, fixed-price, and labor-based contracts
• Strong commercial contract and subcontract experience
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required

Responsibilities

• Monitor prime and task orders from pre-award through post-award for FAR/DFARS compliance
• Support proposals reviewing SOWs and specs to identify risks and mitigation
• Serve as point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teammates
• Prepare contract status and funding information for reviews
• Coordinate review/approval of terms and legal sufficiency of documents
• Manage subcontracts through full lifecycle including awards and closeout
• Prepare RFPs and evaluate subcontractor proposals
• Administer government and commercial contracts and CPSR requirements
• Negotiate and administer master services agreements and NDAs
• Interpret contract clauses and assess business risks with mitigation
• Coordinate with Finance to resolve cost overruns and funding issues
• Maintain complete contract files and deadlines
• Collaborate with Program Managers, technical reps, and procurement teams
