Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned contract administrator to support large capital projects across pharmaceutical, biotech and regulated industries. You will develop contracting strategies, lead procurement activities, and manage contracts through the lifecycle onsite at client sites in Houston, TX.

This role emphasizes governance, payments, change management, and ensuring compliance while fostering strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field.
• 7+ years of contract administration or management on large capital projects.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, labs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Lead procurement activities including pre-qualification, tendering, and negotiations.
• Administer contracts through the lifecycle and ensure compliance.
• Manage contract communications, payments, change requests, and meetings.
• Maintain contract records and document control.
• Monitor performance against cost, schedule, risk, and quality metrics.
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, and project teams to validate payments and insurance.
• Support change management and governance processes.
• Assist with dispute avoidance and stakeholder management.
• Prepare contract administration reports and support project closeout.
• Onsite work at client locations to enable delivery.
