Job summary

Atlas seeks a Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Manager for Federal Construction projects. You will lead the federal three-phase CQC program, maintain thorough documentation, and serve as on-site SSHO to ensure safety and quality in complex, ground-up lab and research facilities.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 10+ years in related roles, and CQM/OSHA-30 credentials, with strong English proficiency for government communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years combined experience in roles like Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Contractor QC Manager.
• Federal three-phase quality-control experience preferred.
• Certifications: CQM for Contractors and OSHA-30 / SSHO qualification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the CQC program per federal contract quality requirements and maintain a site presence.
• Lead the three phases of control for each Definable Feature of Work and run weekly QC meetings.
• Review and approve submittals; manage submittal register and source/factory QC.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and laboratories; liaise with Government inspectors and Special Inspector of Record.
• Maintain daily CQC reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and as-built documentation.
• Serve as SSHO under EM 385-1-1 and support LEED/sustainability requirements.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with Government providers and support functional testing.
