Job summary

ManEngenius in the United States is looking for a contract manager to oversee the preparation, tendering, and administration of contracts for major infrastructure projects.

You will shape contract strategy, guide tendering and contract preparation, manage ongoing contracts and risk, and coordinate with IPM roles to ensure a predictable, controlled and successful project execution. You will work independently yet as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Requires a completed HBO/WO degree.
• Experience with contract management in infrastructure or civil projects.
• Experience in IPM organization.
• Knowledge of UAV-GC contracts.
• Experience with SCB, Systems Engineering, Relatics and/or VISI is a plus.
• Ability to switch between strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.
• Independent, proactive and a true team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract strategy and translate into the appropriate contract form and approach.
• Support procurements and contract preparation.
• Manage existing contracts and monitor agreed terms.
• Manage contractual risks, quality, schedule and finances.
• Monitor contractor performance during execution.
• Maintain contact with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Advise the project team on contractual issues, deviations and changes.
• Work closely with other IPM roles like project manager, technical manager, environmental manager and project controls manager.
• Contribute to a predictable, controlled and successful project execution.
