Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist to join the SCS team on-site in Linthicum, Maryland, or Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The role involves contract development and negotiation, supplier performance management, and governance across the procurement lifecycle.

The position requires 8+ years of related experience (or 6+ with a Master’s), US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance. Travel up to 25% and a competitive salary range are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or related field.
• Masters with minimum 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or related field.
• 1+ years of demonstrable experience in terms and conditions through a lead role in negotiations or contract drafting.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Law Department, Programs, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Engineering to foster long and short-term business relationships with our supply base.
• Balance and influence multiple competing priorities and individuals; strong organizational, verbal and written communication required.
• Apply project management, analytical, planning and human relations skills to multi-tasking and successful outcomes.
• Experience with captures, proposals, and/or program execution; understanding of Government Acquisition Cycle and Business Acquisition Process.
