CEXEC, Inc. is seeking a Contract Specialist to support our long-time customers at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). You will be a relied upon pivotal team resource who will assist the FAA's Sr. Level Contracting staff with pre-award through post-award Contracting activities. Here's What You Will Need To Qualify

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Contracts or related
• 8+ years of relevant contracts experience in the Federal Contracting Arena
• Contracts experience with large Systems Programs (versus Services) with multiple CLINS

You Will Be Responsible For

• Creating Contract Mods and processing invoices on large FAA Systems contracts
• Attending FAA meetings with our clients, co-workers and other support vendors
• Providing contract support for 3 of the FAA's largest and most critical systems contracts
• Executing Full lifecycle (Pre-award through post-award) Contracting activities
• Managing multiple spreadsheets and multiple contract folders
• Providing weekly and monthly CEXEC reporting using MS Word
• Reaching out to other FAA Vendors regarding Contracts Mods and/or issues
• Performing other related contract actions as necessary

Here's what you will need to do to "wow" our customer:

• Respond quickly and accurately to customer requests via email and verbal communications
• Be a self-starter and proactive in gathering information for various contract mods
• Build and retain excellent relationships with the other team members and vendors
• Have multiple CLIN experience on big Federal System Programs (versus Services)
• Know where to go and whom to ask for help or to obtain information (e.g., PRISM help desk)
• Have a strong financial mindset for evaluating funding/invoicing issues
• Use your Contracts/Accounting/Finance background to analyze, sort, and input large amounts of financial data
• Use your experience with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) or the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Be highly competent in MS Excel, Word, and other MS Office tools
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous experience in PRISM and/or Delphi is a plus

Travel/Location:

This position is a hybrid client-site role with some remote work and periodic on-site work at FAA HQ (10B) in Washington, DC. It reports to our CEXEC offices located in the "Capital Gallery" building, near Le'Enfant Plaza Metro and VRE station, across from FAA buildings (10a and 10b). Parking is available.

Salary & Benefits:

The projected total compensation range is $95,948 to $295,914 annually, based on various factors. CEXEC offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, a 401K plan with a company match, and education assistance.
