Job summary

Meet Life Sciences in San Rafael is hiring an experienced Strategic Insights Excellence & Operations Associate to support contracting, procurement, compliance, and market research in a fast-paced biotech environment.

You will manage high-volume contract workflows, create requisitions in SAP/Ariba and Coupa, coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and drive contracts to completion with meticulous data quality and audit readiness.

Qualifications

2+ years SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source experience.
End-to-end contract management experience, drafting through signature.
Manage high-volume contracts and procurement workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage high-volume contract workflows, including NDAs, SOWs, and Change Orders
Create and submit contract and financial requisitions using SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source
Research and manage vendor information
Coordinate workflows across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business teams
Serve as operational point of contact for SIPE processes
Support market research and compliance, data quality, documentation, and audit readiness
Identify process improvements and standardize workflows
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive contracts to completion
Troubleshoot operational issues and drive resolution

Now Hiring: Strategic Insights Excellence & Operations Associate

Are you an experienced operations or contracts professional with strong SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source experience? This could be a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly regulated biotech environment and support strategic operations across contracting, procurement, compliance, and market research.

2+ years of SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source experience
Strong end-to-end contract management experience, managing 100+ contracts per month
Experience tracking contracts from draft through final signature
Experience managing procurement/requisition workflows through financial approval and PO creation
Comfortable navigating complex systems, processes, and ambiguity
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and proactively
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and cross-functional relationship-building skills

What You'll Do
