What You Will Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, overseeing an extensive volume from drafting through final signatures while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and process requisition requests, securing financial approvals and creating purchase orders efficiently within SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source platforms.
- Conduct vendor research to verify active status, facilitate new supplier onboarding, and update existing vendor information.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contract types, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Scopes of Work, and Change Orders.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors, fostering productive relationships to streamline contract execution.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other departments to coordinate workflows, meet deadlines, and manage contractual obligations proactively.
- Maintain detailed records and manage complex workflows to ensure seamless processing and compliance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in contract management or related roles.
- Proficiency with SAP/Ariba, Coupa/Spend Source, and Icertis systems.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database management.
- Capable of managing high workloads and tight deadlines with efficiency and professionalism.
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in contracts administration, legal departments, or within a biotech/pharma/medical device company.
- Experience working at a large law firm or in-house legal team.
- Science background or familiarity with medical and scientific terminology.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Legal Studies, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in contract management, procurement, or legal support in a contract-intensive industry.
