Job description

Position: Senior Contract Specialist

The Senior Contract Specialist is responsible for providing contract and compliance support to the Motion Control Systems division of Regal Rexnord Corporation's Automation and Motion Control segment.

The Motion Control Systems division has global locations in the United States, Europe, and APAC, manufacturing and selling precision motors and drives under the Kollmorgen brand. Kollmorgen products serve industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Factory Automation, Robotics, and Medical.

This role will manage and oversee the contract lifecycle for Motion Control Systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. It involves negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts to support organizational objectives. The Senior Contract Specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient contract execution.

While supporting the Motion Control Systems business, this role will also work closely with Regal Rexnord's legal and compliance teams to align with company-wide contract policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to renewal.
2. Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors and third parties, with support from the Segment General Counsel.
3. Drafting and Reviewing: Draft, review, and revise contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Compliance: Ensure contracts comply with laws, regulations, and policies, including government contracts (FAR/DFARS). Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance processes.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
6. Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders and other divisions to align contract terms with organizational goals. Partner with corporate legal for legal initiatives.
7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate contract records.
8. Training and Mentorship: Educate stakeholders on contract and compliance topics.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Law, or related; Master's or certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) preferred.
2. Experience: At least 5 years in contract management, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.
3. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience with contract management software and global organizations preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Location: Radford, VA or Milwaukee, WI
• Environment: Office setting with occasional travel
• Hours: Standard with flexibility for deadlines

Compensation: $65K - $100K, dependent on location, experience, and skills. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
