Brillient is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to provide federal acquisition and contract administration support across the full acquisition lifecycle. This senior-level role will support Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and program stakeholders with complex procurement actions from acquisition planning through contract closeout.Location: 100% Remote. Candidates must reside in DC, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Texas, or Virginia. Candidates located in the National Capital Region are preferred.Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 annuallyThis position is contingent upon contract award.ResponsibilitiesSupport acquisition activities from planning and solicitation development through evaluation, award, administration, modification, and closeoutPrepare and process procurement actions, including simplified acquisitions, contracts, purchase orders, interagency agreements, IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders, and call ordersSupport Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, Time-and-Materials, and cost-type contractsApply applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements to assigned acquisition actionsDevelop and recommend acquisition strategies and procurement approachesReview and edit acquisition and contract documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and complianceAnalyze pre-award and post-award acquisition data, identify gaps or issues, and provide findings and recommendationsPrepare and enter contract actions into PRISM or other Government acquisition systemsReview and validate acquisition data used for federal reportingSupport contract administration activities, including performance and invoice tracking, modifications, and closeoutMaintain accurate acquisition records, trackers, and supporting documentationCoordinate with Contracting Officers, CORs, program offices, contractors, and other acquisition stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher and/or minimum eight (8) years of relevant contracting experienceSenior-level federal acquisition knowledge and hands-on experience equivalent to at least legacy FAC-C Level III training and experienceDemonstrated experience supporting the full federal acquisition lifecycleStrong working knowledge of the FAR and federal procurement processesExperience with Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, and Time-and-Materials contractsAbility to independently analyze complex acquisition issues and provide well-supported recommendationsStrong written and verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online research toolsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determinationPreferred QualificationsExperience with cost-reimbursement or other cost-type contractsPRISM experiencePrevious acquisition support experience with the Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, or another federal civilian agencyBrillient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
