Overview

Federal Contract Specialist IV responsible for overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract administration.

Core Responsibilities
  • Prepare solicitation documents and manage the procurement process.
  • Receive, record, and review offers and modifications.
  • Conduct cost/price analysis, participate in negotiations, and document fair and reasonable pricing.
  • Maintain official contract files, ensuring compliance with federal and GSA procurement regulations.
  • Process contractor invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform closeout actions.
  • Manage the placement and administration of both simplified acquisitions and formal contracts.
  • Handle high‑dollar transactions and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of federal contracting experience, with construction project experience highly desirable.
  • Preference given to candidates with FAC‑C, DAWIA, or GS‑1102 certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or procurement certifications required.
Conditions of Employment
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must participate in a federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree and (minimum) 8 or more years in communications.
