Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Contract Manager for US Government hydroelectric projects in North America. You will lead end-to-end contract management from bid through warranty, applying FAR and agency clauses, and coordinating with Legal, Procurement, and project leadership.

The role emphasizes negotiation, risk and opportunity management, change control, and a strong focus on compliance and stakeholder collaboration to protect commercial and contractual interests and enable successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of contract management experience in complex projects.
• Experience supporting USG contracts or federally funded programs.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and agency-specific clauses.
• Ability to draft and negotiate high-value amendments and submissions.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management from bid to warranty.
• Draft, review, and tailor commercial clauses per project.
• Negotiate proposals, amendments, and formal contracts.
• Advise project teams on obligations and remedies.
• Interpret USG contract requirements and FAR provisions.
• Manage change, notices, and qualifications through lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, and finance.
• Lead contract management leadership and capability building.
