Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Contract Manager for U.S. Government hydroelectric projects. You will lead contract management from bid to warranty, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance across the lifecycle, coordinating with Legal, Procurement, and project teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in contract management for complex energy or EPC projects, strong FAR knowledge, and excellent English communication. Remote position with travel and a focus on risk mitigation and stakeholder leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of contract management experience in complex projects (Energy, EPC, Construction, infrastructure).
• Experience supporting USG contracts and familiarity with FAR and government contracting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management for USG hydroelectric projects from bid through warranty.
• Draft, review, and tailor contract clauses per project needs.
• Negotiate and finalize proposals, amendments, and contractual instruments.
• Advise project teams on obligations, rights, remedies, and execution requirements.
• Ensure timely and compliant application of contractual obligations across the lifecycle.
• Interpret and administer USG contract requirements including FAR clauses.
• Develop and update contract management plans for assigned projects.
• Drive risk mitigation, opportunities, and alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Project leadership.
• Lead negotiations and mentor less experienced contract professionals.
