Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Contract Manager to lead the Enterprise Supplier Management team. You will draft, negotiate and manage complex third-party contracts, partnering with business, legal, compliance and data security to ensure adherence to Capital One standards.

You will drive deal strategy, risk assessment and transaction management across multiple engagements in a fast-paced procurement environment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• 4+ years of drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts.
• Juris Doctorate (preferred).
• 5+ years of drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing contracting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assessing transactions and creating deal strategies with stakeholders.
• Drafting and/or redlining contracts to protect Capital One from risk.
• Negotiating with suppliers to meet contracting standards and business objectives.
• Managing multiple transactions to drive timely completion.
• Communicating with internal stakeholders across business, legal, compliance and data security.
• Collaborating with the broader ESM team and business units.
• Providing strategic advice based on Capital One policies and procedures.
