Job summary

The Dept of State Health Services seeks a Contract Manager to provide senior leadership in contract management, RFP development, and budget oversight from development to closeout. • Experience in contracting activities including development of RFPs and bid processes.
• Ability to analyze budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics for contracts.
• Familiarity with state procurement policies and contract management best practices.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracting activities: RFP development, planning meetings, timelines, and evaluation tools.
• Coordinate contract budgeting, funding decisions, and performance measures with applicants.
• Monitor contract performance through billings, expenditure data, and compliance reviews.
• Serve as single point of contact for contractors, program staff, and Contract Oversight sections.
• Provide guidance on policy, procedures, and contract administration to staff.
