Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the Federal Health Division. The role focuses on negotiating terms, ensuring compliance, and guiding contracts staff across multiple sites in Northern VA and Maryland.

The position requires strong knowledge of FAR, agency supplements, and CAS, with a Bachelor’s degree or 9+ years of related experience. A hybrid Falls Church, VA work arrangement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 9+ years in contracts administration if no degree.
• 5+ years of related contracts administration experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews documents for legal sufficiency.
• Ensures program compliance with contractual terms and applicable management objectives.
• Provides guidance and leadership to contracts administrators and may supervise.
• Acts as point of contact with internal departments for contract questions and issues.
• Reviews requests for proposals and prepares proposals.
• Formulates and negotiates contract modifications (e.g., REAs, Change Proposals).
• Reviews and negotiates teaming agreements.
• Interprets work requirements and obligations; recommends contract implementations.
• Keeps current knowledge of contractual procedures and practices.
• Participates in special projects as required.
