Responsibilities

• Leads the procurement process for complex contracts, including drafting RFPs, evaluating proposals, and negotiating terms.
• Manages contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Monitors contract performance for timeliness, quality, and compliance with obligations.
• Conducts contract reviews and audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provides guidance to junior staff on contract administration and procurement procedures.
• Serves as liaison between the county and vendors, stakeholders, and legal counsel.
• Develops relationships with internal departments to facilitate collaboration on contract matters.
• Prepares reports and recommendations on contract status and performance metrics.
• Participates in development and implementation of contract management policies and training.
• Ensures documentation, archiving, and version control of contract documents.
