Job summary

Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation is seeking a Contract Specialist to support procurement and contract administration at the county level in Tucson, AZ. The role involves drafting solicitations, reviewing bids, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

You will coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and legal counsel, monitor performance and budget, prepare documentation, and generate reports for management reviews.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in public/business administration, finance, supply chain or closely related field with 1 year contract administration experience.
• Experience with government procurement processes and contract development preferred.
• Ability to analyze procurement needs and develop specifications and purchase documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and issuance of RFPs, ITBs, RFQs for public service contracts.
• Review bids and quotes for compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and revisions with vendors and legal counsel.
• Maintain contract files, amendments, change orders, and correspondence.
• Monitor contract performance, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
