Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus 6 years experience, or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience preferred.

Summary of Job Duties:

The Senior Contract Analyst reports to the Contracts Manager and maintains contract data files and pricing integrity. Responsibilities include analyzing product usage and pricing to optimize contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, assisting with financial analysis and negotiations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role involves managing contract lifecycles, leading audits, engaging with suppliers, and providing strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, OR
  • High school diploma plus 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience (e.g., Surgical Technologist, RN, LPN)
  • Experience in healthcare contracts management or financial analytics
  • CPSM or CPCM certification
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract portfolios, ensure documentation accuracy
  • Oversee contract lifecycle from initiation to renewal or termination
  • Serve as SME for contract interpretation
  • Ensure compliance with laws and policies
  • Lead audits and performance reports
  • Research and optimize GPO and local contracts
  • Negotiate with suppliers and improve contract performance
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and provide strategic guidance
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standards
  • Conduct training on compliance and contract management
  • Ensure adherence to procurement and accounting regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
