Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Sunnyvale seeks a Principal Contract Administrator to support proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration in line with policy and customer requirements.

You will manage standard and nonstandard contracts, monitor changes, ensure timely delivery of deliverables, and maintain contract data in the system, while coordinating with internal and external customers. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in contracts or related field, or a Master's with 3+ years.
• 9 years of experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and contract management tools.
• Experience negotiating terms including FAR/DFARS and specialty clauses.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer for contractual issues and monitor obligations.
• Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Develop solutions to routine and complex contract matters.
• Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements and manage changes.
• Review terms and conditions, risk areas and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare written communications and manage contract data in systems.
• Ensure timely delivery of contractual deliverables and invoices.
