Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Contracts Administrator to support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration. You’ll interface with customers on contractual issues, manage program obligations, and ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements.

The role requires a strong foundation in contract law (FAR/DFARS), excellent MS Office skills, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in contracts or a related field with required years of experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and contract management tools.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions including FAR/DFARS and specialty clauses.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues and monitor program obligations.
• Participate in proposal prep, contract negotiations, administration, and customer contract activities.
• Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters while ensuring compliance.
• Review terms to address financials, delivery, IP, termination, indemnification, and risks.
• Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales.
• Prepare written communications and enter contract data into management systems.
