Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) in Virginia’s Chantilly area seeks a Contract Administrator to support government acquisition programs. The role requires US Citizenship with TS/SCI + Poly and a strong background in DoD or JCIDS processes.

You'll assist program leadership, monitor schedules and budgets, generate briefs, and ensure acquisition documentation meets government standards. Onsite work location in Chantilly, VA, with opportunities for growth within the Space and Intelligence

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with TS/SCI + Poly clearance at date of application
• BA/BS degree or higher in STEM, Business, Statistics, International Relations, Military Studies, Political Science, National Security, Government Economics, or related field of study
• 4+ years of related work experience
• Knowledge of JCIDS and DoD 5000 Series instructions and other guidance from relevant government agency customer
• Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition management regulations, practices, policies, procedures and Acquisition Program Baseline development
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist government clients in acquisition processes using system definitions and threats.
• Assist program leadership in monitoring the program with defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Use quantitative analysis to assess acquisition processes and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze existing and future systems based on projected threats and new technologies.
• Participate in cost, schedule, performance, variance, and risk analysis.
• Define, generate reviews, and ensure acquisition documentation meets government specifications and standards.
• Assist with day-to-day management of acquisition programs and/or special projects.
• Conduct cross-program analyses and report findings to the program office.
• Identify tradeoffs within and among programs and provide executive resource alternatives.
• Maintain Directorate and/or Agency budget tracks at multiple levels.
• Review Directorate and Agency data in the NEXT, Agency FIRST, and Intelligence Resource Information System.
