Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Contract Administrator in Illinois to manage sustainment contracts, negotiate terms, and coordinate with internal teams and government customers. The role requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with on-site duties and a 9/80 schedule where applicable.

You’ll interact with stakeholders on complex contract matters, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance with contract requirements across programs within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with related contracts experience.
• Experience with various contract types (T&M, Cost, Firm Fixed Price).
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting required.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead sustainment activities for assigned contracts.
• Prepare communications with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain contract data in management systems and ensure timely invoicing.
• Negotiate contract changes and ensure compliance with requirements.
