Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Report to the General Counsel.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial and research-related agreements.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a broad portfolio of biotechnology contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal company policies.
  • Review, draft, redline, and negotiate CDAs/NDAs, MSAs, consulting agreements, SOWs, clinical trial site agreements, and supply agreements.
  • Identify and upscale legal, business, and regulatory risks to Legal Department attorneys.
  • Provide recommended contract language and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage contract files, including accurate recordkeeping, version control, and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
  • Develop and maintain standard contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 2-4 years prior experience as a contract specialist, contract administrator, corporate paralegal, or similar role

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with contracts in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage various contracts simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to explain complex contractual and regulatory concepts to non-legal stakeholders

  • Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in legal documents and contract databases

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications
