Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage's Solid Waste Services department seeks a Contract Administrator to oversee contracts for services, maintenance, and construction.

Under general supervision, you will ensure contractor compliance with terms and applicable laws, and administer a range of contracts from on-call trades to IT services.

A strong background in contract management and project coordination, plus relevant degrees and experience, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar; 3 years related experience.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar; 5 years related experience.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; 7 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts for Solid Waste Services including service, maintenance, and construction.
• Ensure contractor compliance with terms, laws, ordinances, and department policies.
• Develop, prepare, and administer various contracts such as on-call trade services, IT services, and major projects.
