Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a field leader to supervise water damage restoration projects in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on high-quality mitigation, setup of drying equipment, and coordinating a crew to deliver fast, reliable service.

Job Duties

Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers such as:

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• 2 years of experience in restoration
• Water restoration and structural drying knowledge
• Ability to lead and direct a crew
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history
