Job summary

Cooley is seeking a Content Strategy & Production Manager to join the Marketing and Client Development team. This role leads editorial strategy, content development, and production, turning complex legal and industry concepts into market-facing thought leadership and campaign assets.

You will supervise writers and editors, coordinate with the Messaging team to ensure brand consistency, and drive end-to-end content workflows from ideation to delivery in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing or business development, preferably in integrated content functions
• Experience writing content for evolving search landscapes (e.g., AEO, GEO)
• Prior professional services or B2B marketing experience
• Strong ability to manage content production across multi-media formats

Responsibilities

• Develop firm-wide content strategy using audience insights and trends
• Create content strategies for practice groups in collaboration with stakeholders
• Supervise internal and external writers, editors, videographers, and designers
• Draft and refine go-to-market materials and thought leadership content
• Maintain brand consistency with the Messaging team
• Lead storytelling across articles, blogs, video, and interactive content
• Mentor direct reports and manage staffing and performance
• Collaborate on hiring, performance reviews, and employee development
