Job summary

Lone Rock Point seeks a Senior Content Strategist to audit, migrate, and govern content across large WordPress sites for public sector clients. You will lead workshops, create solid information architecture, and define editorial governance that clients can manage long-term.

You will collaborate with designers and developers, defending plain-language recommendations to program offices and ensuring accessibility and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content strategy or related field.
• Experience with audits and information architecture for complex sites.
• Knowledge of WordPress content structures (custom post types, taxonomies, blocks).
• Ability to write and defend plain-language content for a general public.
• Experience facilitating workshops with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead content strategy engagements from discovery through launch.
• Design information architecture and taxonomy for large WordPress installations.
• Build content models for custom WordPress blocks and templates.
• Write and enforce editorial guidelines meeting accessibility standards.
• Plan and execute content migrations; audit legacy content.
• Facilitate workshops and training to hand off editorial ownership.
