Designed to minimize advertising waste and optimize marketing budgets, Northbeam solves key digital marketing challenges with attribution and mixed channel paths. As the marketing analytics tool of choice for leading brands including Timex, Rent The Runway, Thrive Causemetics, Hexclad, The Ridge, and hundreds of companies each grossing hundreds of millions in sales.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Strategist who excels both as a content leader and a hands-on creator. This senior-level, individual contributor role is ideal for a content expert with deep technical SEO knowledge, B2B SaaS marketing experience, and a passion for both strategy and execution in the martech or ecommerce space.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Northbeam’s holistic content strategy to drive business growth, thought leadership, and brand differentiation.
  • Actively write, edit, and produce high-impact content across multiple formats—including long-form articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, webinars, and video—to engage and educate B2B SaaS and ecommerce audiences.
  • Own the end-to-end content process: from ideation and research to drafting, editing, and publishing, ensuring the highest standards of quality and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and evolve the content calendar, aligning content initiatives with product launches, integrated campaigns, and customer lifecycle needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with executive, product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure content supports go-to-market strategies and customer education.
  • Define and enforce brand voice and messaging guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Drive and implement technical SEO strategy, including advanced on-page and off-page optimization, site architecture improvements, and collaboration with engineering to maximize organic visibility and website performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in martech, analytics, and ecommerce, proactively identifying opportunities for Northbeam to lead the conversation.
  • Support integrated marketing programs (Product Marketing, paid media, email, ABM) with strategic, original content and messaging.
  • Manage freelancers as needed to scale content production & quality
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in B2B content strategy and marketing, with significant time spent in SaaS, martech, or ecommerce environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio showcasing both strategic content leadership and high-quality, personally authored work across diverse formats.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines as an individual contributor.
  • Deep understanding of brand voice development, positioning, and governance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using content and SEO performance data to inform strategy.
  • Proficiency with video and multimedia content creation tools.
  • Experience with marketing intelligence, attribution, or analytics platforms is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Self-starter with executive presence, strategic vision, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for senior audiences.
Why Join Northbeam?
  • Influence the content and brand strategy of a fast-growing, innovative SaaS company trusted by top ecommerce and DTC companies.
  • Lead Northbeam’s content vision and thought leadership—while remaining hands-on in content creation—in a dynamic, evolving industry.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, with significant opportunities for professional and career growth.
  • Northbeam is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
