You will interview experts, ensure technical accuracy, optimize for search and AI answers, and repurpose research into a full campaign including social, video, and sales assets.

This role is writing-heavy and fast-paced.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in B2B content roles and writing for security practitioners.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment.
• Proven record of content that earns organic traffic and rankings.
• Hands-on SEO and AEO experience with Semrush, GA4, Profound, and AirOps.
• Experience shipping in fast-moving companies with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Content Production: write blogs, whitepapers, and ebooks that build awareness and engage buyers.
• Interview Cogent’s researchers, engineers, and field team for raw material and technical accuracy.
• React quickly to security news: craft POV pieces while the story is hot.
• Social & Video: execute regular series and write scripts for videos, working with contractors.
• Search & AEO: lead SEO/AEO programs and optimize for AI answers.
• Research & Story Packaging: shape Cogent’s flagship report and derive derivative content.
• AI-Native Production: use AI to accelerate drafting, editing, and content repurposing.
