Job description

The opportunity Unity (NYSE: U) is dedicated to creating immersive and engaging experiences for developers, creators and players worldwide. Unity's Grow division helps mobile developers and publishers scale their games and apps through industry-leading user acquisition and monetization solutions. We are looking for a strategic content marketer with an ad tech background to join our Content Marketing team. This role will primarily support Unity's advertising and monetization products. The team produces content that supports our go-to-market strategy, including thought leadership, reports, and customer success stories. This is a senior individual contributor role based in New York. You'll own a continuous pipeline of high-quality content and partner closely with integrated marketing on campaigns, working alongside product marketing, sales, and creative.

What you'll be doing

Help define GTM campaign content deliverables, working cross-functionally across marketing. Partner with integrated marketing to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, helping shape content strategy and producing assets that bring each campaign to life across paid, owned, earned, email, events, and social channels. Own and deliver a rich pipeline of content that supports the GTM strategy across the customer journey. Content types include case studies, thought leadership, ebooks, webinars, co-marketing materials, newsletters, reports, content optimized for AI search, and presentations. Identify story opportunities and manage approvals, including legal review, to deliver accurate, on-brand content in the format that best serves the GTM. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, valuable content for mobile developers, publishers, and advertisers. Monitor and optimize content and campaign performance based on data, surfacing insights and recommendations to the team. Use AI and content tools such as Claude, Profound, and Sanity throughout the content workflow, from research and drafting to tracking and improving how Unity shows up in AI-powered search.

What we're looking for

Experience in ad tech, mobile advertising, programmatic, or performance marketing, with a solid understanding of the mobile advertising and monetization landscape (e.g., user acquisition, ad networks, mediation, measurement). Hands-on integrated marketing experience, including contributing to or leading multi-channel campaigns from planning through launch and measurement, with a strong grasp of content distribution and performance metrics. Proven track record of producing high-quality B2B and B2C content that drives engagement and supports demand generation, aligned with messaging and positioning strategy. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a range of audiences. Experience owning a content program as a senior individual contributor, including stakeholder coordination and editorial judgment. Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Profound, and experience applying SEO, GEO, and AEO best practices to content creation.
