Job summary

Audacia Strategies is seeking a flexible, high-energy Content Development and Copyeditor Specialist to join our team. You will contribute to the success of major engagements across diverse sectors and help elevate the quality of client work.

You will write and develop content for websites, newsletters, emails, social posts, video scripts, and other written media, and you will review and edit colleagues’ copy to ensure a consistent voice.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate communications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or advertising.
• 8 years’ experience in a formal communications and copywriter role, preferably in corporate communications or agency; consulting experience preferred.
• Ability to gather information and synthesize into presentable deliverables.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and deliver high-quality products to stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written communication: writing for internal, external, web, emails, newsletters, letters, social, etc.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills; write clearly and succinctly.
• Experience communicating to diverse audiences across industries and org sizes.
• Take feedback and implement changes.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and colleagues.
• Creative thinker, problem-solver, able to set priorities and work under pressure.
• Portfolio of diverse copy samples from professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest quality standards in all client work.
• Develop content ideas with engagement team members for the client.
• Write and develop content for communications to support client engagements and align with client voice and key messages.
• Collaborate with content owners to create cohesive engagement deliverables.
• Contribute editing expertise for consistent voice, flow, and grammar.
• Contribute copy for websites, newsletters, sales collateral, emails, social posts, scripts, and other media.
• Review and/or edit other writers’ copy as needed.
• Perform copy edits based on team and client feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
