Job summary

ethoslife is seeking a senior content designer to shape the language, narrative, and content systems for a consumer financial product. You will own end‑to‑end content design, influence product direction, set standards, and use research to make complex decisions understandable and actionable.

You will write across journeys, collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams, and present decisions to stakeholders while building robust writing practices and guardrails for regulated topics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of content design or content strategy experience.
• 2+ years working on direct-to-consumer digital products with measurable impact.
• Excellent storytelling and information-architecture instincts.
• Ability to explain regulated subjects in plain, accurate language.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and collaborative writing skills.
• Genuine curiosity with AI writing and ideation tools, including prompts.
• Collaborative writing style; comfortable in regulatory constraints and Figma.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine content across landing pages, onboarding, checkout, post-purchase journeys, and interface microcopy.
• Develop a consistent narrative across long, high-consideration flows balancing clarity and reassurance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and analysts from discovery to launch.
• Present work to senior stakeholders and iterate in real time with feedback.
• Help establish content standards, voice-and-tone guidance, and review practices.
• Research customer needs via audits, interviews, analytics, usability testing, and A/B tests.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation and production and define guardrails for content generation.
