Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive fintech experiences across mobile and web. You will drive end-to-end design, collaborating with product managers and engineers to translate complex financial concepts into accessible interfaces.

You will mentor junior designers, champion user-centred design, and contribute to a scalable design system while leveraging analytics and research to iterate rapidly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior product design role with a strong UX focus.
• Expertise in interaction design, IA, and user flows.
• Proficient in designing for mobile and web with responsive experiences.
• Strong understanding of behavioural psychology and how it affects decisions.
• Experience in usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
• Able to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
• Familiar with UX analytics tools (GA, Mixpanel, Hotjar).
• Knowledge of atomic design and scalable design libraries.
• Proficient with motion design tools (Lottie, After Effects, Principle).
• Experience mentoring junior designers and influencing stakeholders.
• Comfortable in agile, fast-paced product teams.
• Proven fintech/SaaS experience and industry awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Lead end-to-end design from discovery to final UI execution.
• Conduct advanced user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement designs.
• Design scalable UI components and contribute to the design system.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Create micro-interactions and motion to enhance engagement.
• Use data-driven insights to improve UX and impact.
• Mentor junior designers and foster design excellence.
