Job summary

Brightspeed seeks a Senior Content Designer to own content strategy across the eCommerce funnels from discovery to post-order moments. You will influence experience direction, mentor teammates, and guide content operations using AI tools to improve accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.

You will partner with product design, PM, analytics, research, marketing, legal, and engineering to define content frameworks and information architecture that scale across journeys and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, UX, HCI, Design, Journalism, Content Strategy, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, product content strategy, or digital content design.
• Experience using AI within content design/strategy workflows and real examples.
• Experience shaping content strategy across multiple digital funnels and journeys.
• Portfolio demonstrating strategic content design, journey thinking, systems thinking, UX writing, and measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design for complex eCommerce initiatives with systems thinking across pages and flows.
• Define content’s role in the experience, including hierarchy, guidance, error recovery, and decision support.
• Write and refine interface content: headlines, CTAs, labels, help text, product education, and transactional guidance.
• Translate complex information into clear customer-facing experiences while ensuring accessibility and plain language.
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, legal, and engineering to align content with business goals.
• Create reusable guidance, standards, and templates to scale content decisions across teams.
